HOW SHIPPING WORKS
Shipping and transportation is a complex industry that can become very confusing, very quickly when looking at all of the options. Thankfully, Hible Furnishings has you covered with a quick breakdown of shipping options applicable to our specific products and services to help you understand the best options available for you.

These service providers are our key go-to partners when shipping items that fit into manageable boxes. Typically items that are shipped with one of these providers include...
- Smaller items
- Regularly sized home decor
- Regularly sized small furniture
- Items where specialized handling is not necessary
The key to affordable parcel shipping with these providers is keeping the size and weight metrics low enough to be easily handled by transporting agents. Increases in item size, weight, and whether or not the item has an awkward shape are all factors that can raise shipping costs very quickly, making them extremely expensive.
We also tend to restrict parcel shipping for fragile and vintage or antique items such as vintage and antique mirrors, artwork, and unique or one-of-a-kind fragile items and decor. Transportation of these items are paramount and require special handling to ensure safe delivery. Shipping for these types of items are arranged differently and is usually even the more economical choice when comparing against shipping via parcel.
Shipping costs for items and products that meet our predetermined criteria for parcel shipping are determined by the provider and included in your total costs when purchasing. Orders being fulfilled via parcel shipping will be provided tracking information and an estimated ship/delivery time determined by shipping option chosen at checkout.
IN-HOME DELIVERY
When parcel shipping is not deemed appropriate for the item or product being shipped, Hible Furnishings opts for special In-Home Delivery arrangements utilizing its network of private shipping carriers. Items that most often ship with In-Home Delivery include...

Our private shipping partners are professionals who specialize in moving items that fit into these categories safely and efficiently. These professionals securely package items and deliver to your location in-home or to the first dry location when in-home delivery is not an option. From our experience, our network of In-Home Delivery partners are not only the safest shipping option, but by far the most affordable as well.
When choosing In-Home Delivery as a shipping option, you are paying for reliable and safe transport of the item to your location. The associated costs of shipping are determined by the size, weight and shape of the item, moving personnel required, and distance being transported. All are factors to which our delivery partners analyze when determining custom rates for each product. Unfortunately this also means that bulk shipping options are not regularly offered by our partners.
In-Home Delivery has a 4-6 week estimated delivery timeline from the date of purchase. Please note that this timeline is an estimate due to the nature of private transportation services and their availability in fulfilling orders. Any order in which delivery is expected past six weeks is rare and buyers will be notified as soon as possible. Contact information for our partners will be shared upon pick-up of your item from our location. They will in turn be provided your contact information to arrange specific delivery logistics directly.
IN-STORE PICKUP
In-Store pickup is free and available for any item. All orders under which In-Store Pickup is chosen as the shipping option at checkout will be provided contact information and the pickup location via email. There will always be a team member available to assist in the pickup of any product or item when In-Store Pickup is chosen.
SHIPPING ON OUR SERVICES
PERSONAL SOURCING SERVICE
Shipping for items or products found through our Personal Sourcing Service will be arranged by Hible Furnishings using our In-Home Delivery partners. Any individual taking advantage of this service will pay shipping costs directly to Hible Furnishings in the pre-arranged amount discussed between both parties prior to shipment.
In-Home Delivery shipping procedures will otherwise follow the same details as outlined in the In-Home Delivery section above.
FURNITURE RESTORATION SERVICE
Clients taking advantage of our Restoration Services are responsible for arranging their own shipping to Hible Furnishings or may defer responsibility to Hible Furnishings to arrange. When arranging your own shipping, items must arrive in the same condition as when presented to Hible Furnishings at the time of service agreement or the Agreement of Services will be void and subject to renegotiation. If a renegotiation of the Agreement of Services is not possible, the client must arrange their own return shipping arrangements within 2 weeks of delivery at our location.
If deferred, Hible Furnishings will utilize its In-Home Delivery network to arrange shipping. Any individual taking advantage of this service will pay shipping costs directly to Hible Furnishings in the pre-arranged amount discussed between both parties prior to shipment.
In-Home Delivery shipping procedures will otherwise follow the same details as outlined in the In-Home Delivery section above.

ARRANGE YOUR OWN SHIPPING
All products and items sold by Hible Furnishings are available for Buyer-arranged shipping upon request. Simply send us a message via our contact form and we will be happy to work with you. Buyer-arranged shipping must organize pick-up of the item from our location within 2 weeks of purchase.
Hible Furnishings is not responsible in any way for item damage or loss due to buyer arranged shipping nor is it responsible for any packaging necessary. Once transferred to the respective shipping agent coordinated by the buyer, Hible Furnishings is no longer liable for the item in any way. All sales with buyer-arranged shipping are considered final upon pickup from our location and ineligible for refunds and returns.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International shipping options are not provided by Hible Furnishings. If you would like international shipping for any item, you are responsible for arranging all associated details and arrangements. Simply reach out to Hible Furnishings to discuss details here.
SHIPPING LIABILITY
Hible Furnishings assumes shipping liability for all items shipped via the following Hible Furnishings- arranged methods:
- USPS, UPS, FedEx parcel shipments
- In-Home Delivery
Damage to items incurred during shipping via one of these methods will be reviewed and are subject to the details found in our Refund and Return Policy.
Hible Furnishings releases all shipping liability for items shipped via buyer-arranged shipping methods.
