Antique Edwardian American Tiger Oak Mirrored Hall Tree Seat With Carved Motifs

An amazing find. Fully constructed with quarter-sawn oak, otherwise known as tiger oak. Hails from the late 1800s-early 1900s, with known history as purchased pre-owned during the Great Depression. Stands on a four point base with flat seat and simple stylized arms. A carved relief rests in the bottom center of the of the back, with large full length beveled mirror above.

Six original antique brass coat hooks remain around the mirror. A carved serpent or dragon exists curving around the side and top of the hall seat for a wonderfully unique design. Elements of both Early American and Edwardian styles. Phenomenal overall condition with tight joinery and without wobble. A floral motif seat cushion is included with the hall seat (photo available upon request).
