A set of five dark oak barley twist dining chairs from the early 20th century. Each features the classic twisted design on both front legs and frames of darkened oak indicative of a technique called “fuming”. All chairs maintain structural integrity with tight joinery. Both seats and backs of each chair are decorated with embossed or stamped vinyl upholstery in fantastic shape. It does not appear to be original. Stunning pieces that would be beautiful as are, or reupholstered in a fabric or leather of choice!
