Antique Victorian Quartersawn Oak Barley Twist Sideboard Buffet

A beautiful and large Victorian style oak sideboard buffet from the early 1900s. Utilizing Quartersawn oak, this sideboard features tiger patterning unique to this style of milling of the wood. Four cupboard style doors open to reveal a center storage area. Below, a large full width and depth drawer slides without sticking or jittering. Three curved and shaped drawers lie beneath the sideboard top, one of which contains compartments for separate item storage.

The entire buffet rests on four barely twist legs secured by long barely twisted stretcher. Rich grain patterning and color, along with crystal and solid antique brass hardware defines this sideboard. The large 5’ long buffet top allows for abundant utility. Intricate carvings and other design elements complete a stunning aesthetic. Perfect for any environment or room atmosphere.
