Attributed to David Michael, importer of fine hand crafted European Furniture. Made in Italy, this mahogany chest of drawers is in the style of 18th century furniture maker Giuseppe Magglioni, notable for pioneering furniture with elegant inlays and neoclassical elements. Featuring incredible inlaid designs and patterns including phoenix and unicorn motifs. Mahogany, walnut and satinwood, and solid brass hardware with working lock. Three full width drawers. Wonderful design with great attention to detail and the use of quality materials. Inclusion of protective glass top for longevity of condition.
