Quarter sawn oak Arts and Crafts desk from the early 20th century. Beautiful tiger oak patterning evident on the desktop and a body style consistent with the Arts and Crafts, and Mission style furniture movement of the early 1900s pioneered by the Stickley family. A beautiful brown and blonde coloring remains attractive and true to the original finish. Features a single pull out drawer and bottom stretcher for stability. Could also be used as a Library Desk. Displays evidence of previous refinishing. Fantastic overall shape.
