Made by Limberts Furniture, this Mission or Arts and Crafts Oak writing desk is a testament to American craftsmanship and quality. Made at the turn of the 20th century, it displays a style and pioneered in the States by names like Gustav Stickley and Charles Limbert. Quartersawn oak remains in original condition with darkened color appropriate for original finish. The desk is supported by four stable legs with two bookshelves below the desktop on either side. A solid stretcher connects the two sides for support and integrity. The body of the desk features solid pull out drawer, with flip top to reveal compartment for desk necessities. A beautiful piece worthy of any collector of antique or arts and crafts style furniture.
