Hailing from renown mid 20th century French designer Jacques Bodart, a beautiful black lacquered and gilt buffet or sideboard. This piece is in exquisite condition with minor wear along interior shelving, however externally presents beautifully. Gleaming black lacquer and gold gilding combine for a stunning luxurious aesthetic. Set onto a simple four point base, this sideboard buffet features dual cabinet spaces: one containing a large shelf, and the right-side swinging door revealing four pull out drawers. The topmost is a felt lined utensils drawer. This black lacquered piece deserves a spot in any dining area and emanates eloquence and regent beauty. Unique cabinet pulls are a testament to early to mid 1900 creativity.
