From 1949, a Lane Furniture single drawer mahogany wood, cedar lined blanket chest. In a federal style with beautiful hardware, this blanket chest breaks the mold with both its height, and its inclusion of a lower full length drawer. Beautiful federal style drawer pulls adorn the front of the chest. The deep chest space allows for ample storage and drawer for versatility in any space. A beautiful truly vintage piece from a great American furniture maker.
As photographed, the latch mechanism has been removed from the chest due to a safety recall for Lane Chests made prior to 1987.
